We are now able to offer camping stays in the beautiful Box End Park grounds. From Spring onwards you and the family can escape to our unique lakeside setting, enjoy the wildlife, river and lake - and make the most of all the amazing activities on offer!
All pitches are on flat grass and are serviced by toilets, showers & drinking water only a short walk away. We offer both electric & non-electric pitches measuring 8mx8m.
Our electric pitches have optional EHU available to them. Simply book your pitch with prices starting from £20pn (up to 2 adults) and then purchase your electric separately on arrival! You will need to bring your own cables and some of our pitches are up to 15m away from your electric post, so kindly bear this in mind. No EHU available to non-electric pitches.
Our brand new facilities block features top quality toilet and shower facilities, in a brand new heated building.
We can accept tents, campervans, roof tents, trailer tents, motorhomes & single-axle caravans. Note we are not able to accept twin axle caravans or commercial sign written tow vehicles.
We are not a ‘party site’ or a site where you can sit up late drinking with friends – so if you are wanting to play music long into the night then unfortunately, we’re not the right site for you! For the benefit of our neighbours and your fellow campers we have a strict NO NOISE POLICY after 22:30pm. Please leave your campsite pitch clean & tidy (just as you found it) and be respectful to our other campsite users. We only accept bookings from solo campers, couples and families with children – no group bookings!
Camping check-in is open from 13:00pm to 17:00pm in our Activities Reception and pitches must be vacated by 11:00am on the day of departure. You must check in at the Activities Reception on arrival before pitching up.
On arrival please park in the main carpark and walk over to our Activities Reception, where you will be checked-in for your stay & you can buy your electric for EHU pitches. Electricity is metered on site at £0.30 per kWh and must be paid onsite using a pre-paid smart card. A minimum of £5 credit must be added. An additional £5 deposit is taken when the card is issued, refundable on return of the card.
If you are planning to arrive outside of the above hours, please contact our team via email at info@boxendpark.com who can help to arrange your out of hours arrival. This must be done at least 48 hours in advance of your stay.
No refunds/discounts or credits will be given for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Due to administration costs we are unfortunately unable to offer refunds on any booking however, we are able to make amendments to a booking date or provide a 12 month credit to any bookings, provided we have more than 14 days notice.
Please read through the site rules below and make sure you are comfortable with them before making a booking. If you break these rules, you will be asked to leave and no refund will be given.
