Directions
By Car: Travelling from the North: On the M1, exit at Junction 14 and pick up the signs for Bedford. Follow the A422 towards Bedford for approx 7 miles. On reaching a roundabout where you join the A428, turn right and follow the A428 up a hill for approximately 1 mile taking the first turning on the left - Signposted towards Bromham, Kempston and the A5134. At the next T-junction turn right and follow the road under a bridge and into the village of Box End. Stay on this road and Box End Park is on the left shortly after you leave the village of Box End. If you are coming from the South: Follow the A421 until it meets the A428 and A5134 at a large new oval roundabout (This roundabout has extensive roadworks taking place at it). There is a large ASDA distribution centre and Swan sculpture at the roundabout to help you identify it. From the large oval roundabout pick up the signs to Bromham on the newly opened A428 "Branston way" (Note that Google Maps and most Sat Navs don't have the new A428 on yet). Follow this new road straight over 1 roundabout and then turn left at the second roundabout, signposted to Box End. Box End Park is approximately 1 mile down this road on the right hand side. |
